Pizza Hut robbed at gunpoint

Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a thePizza Hut on Star Ranch Road in Colorado Springs. It happened Friday around 11 p.m.

Anemployee of the Pizza Hut said he was outside smoking a cigarette, when the suspect approached him from behind. The victim said he heardthe slide to a semi automatic handgun being pulled back and released. The suspect told him to, “Take him to the money.” They both entered into the store and the victim opened the cash register. The suspect left the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a black male, early 20’s, 6’0 foot tall, heavy build, and black hair, last seen wearing a grey hoodie and a blue ski mask.

Officers checked the area, however, were not able to locate the suspect. There were no injuries.
