Otero County man captured in Ordway

An escaped prisoner was captured by Crowley County sheriff’s deputies Saturday night in Ordway.

A spokesman for the sheriff’s office said Clayton Freshour, 28, was caught KJ’s grocery store after a short foot chase.

Freshour escaped about three weeks ago. He was wanted on felony warrants out of Otero county, including domestic violence.
