Wrong-Way Driver Arrested For DUI
Colorado Springs police arrested a man Sunday morning after a short chase.
According to police, the man was driving south in the northbound lanes of Interstate 25.
An officer saw the driver and attempted to pull him over.
The driver, Stephen Smith, eventually stopped on East Fillmore Street, police said.
At the time Smith stopped he was clocked driving between 70 and 75 miles per hour.
Smith was arrested and faces several traffic violations including driving under the influence, police said.
