Police Search For Armed Robber
An armed robber is on the loose this morning.
Colorado Springs police say a man armed with a handgun went into the Target on East Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard just after 6 p.m. Friday. He went to the register, showed the clerk the handgun and demanded money. He got away with an unknown amount of cash. A k-9 unit tried to track the robber but didn’t find him.
The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20’s, about six feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a dark hoodie, a ball cap and dark gloves.
