Pueblo Man Dies After Being Hit By Car
Police are investigating a deadly pedestrian accident in Pueblo’s Belmont neighborhood.
The crash happened Thursday night, just before 8:00pm, as the man was crossing the street at Hudson and Highway 50.
When officers arrived, they found a 48 year-old man down in the eastbound lanes of the freeway.
He was transported to Parkview by ambulance, but died of his injuries.
Neither the driver, nor the victim have been identified, except to say that the driver was a 39 year-old Pueblo woman.
Eastbound lanes of Hwy 50 remained closed at the time of this writing, and aren’t expected to reopen until late Thursday.
