Man Attacked, Robbed Behind KFC
Just before 9 p.m. Monday Colorado Springs police say a man was attacked and robbed while he was walking behind the Kentucky Fried Chicken on West Colorado Avenue.
The victim tells police he was walking behind the restaurant when a black man dressed entirely in black walked up to him, hitting him in the face with a baseball bat. The victim fell to the ground and the robber took his wallet and left. K-9 units tried to track the suspect but couldn’t find him.
Police say the victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. He is expected to survive.
