Person Rescued From Fountain Creek In Fountain

The Santa Fe Avenue (Highway 85) bridge on the south side of Fountain was closed for a short time early Tuesday afternoon as firefighters worked to rescue someone who fell off the bridge into Fountain Creek.

Few other details are available, but Fountain firefighters say someone fell off the bridge into the creek.

That person was rescued and taken by ambulance to a hospital, firefighters said.

It is not known how badly the person was hurt.
