UPDATE: Tipped Trailer Cleared On I-25

Traffic is now flowing freely on southbound I-25 north of Woodmen Rd.

It appears an older model car was pulling a trailer when it became detached or tipped over early Tuesday afternoon. The trailer was carrying metal rods that dumped onto the interstate.

Traffic was initially traveling solely through the right lane, but the center lane soon re-opened. As of 2:30 p.m., all lanes are open in the area. Drivers were recommended to exit the highway at Briargate or North Academy during the accident..
