Springs Sex Offender Gets 42 Years To Life
A Colorado Springs man was sentenced on Tuesday to 42 years to life on sexual abuse charges.
57-year-old Kenneth Duane McNeil was arrested last year. McNeil will serve 42 years to life followed by 112 years.
In his October trial, McNeil was found guilty of 68 counts related to child sex abuse including sexual assault on a child, sexual exploitation of children, and obscenity. The victims were all younger than 12 years old.
After the trial in October, a DA spokesperson said they were relieved to have an offender like McNeil off the streets. McNeil cried during his conviction trial.
