Threat Cleared At Scholars To Leaders Academy

A school has been cleared after a bomb threat Tuesday morning.

The bomb threat happened around 9:30 a.m. at Scholars to Leaders Academy on Larkspur Dr in Colorado Springs. That is near the intersection of Hancock and Fillmore.

According to CSPD, there was a threat written on a bathroom stall. They are not sure how long the message had been there.

Staff evacuated the school and police units and dogs searched the building.

The threat was cleared at 11:30 a.m. and students were allowed back in the school. The principal says everything will continue to run normally.
