Police Respond To Armed Robbery

Colorado Springs Police responded to an armed robbery at the Diamond Shamrock station on Jet Wing Drive Wednesday morning.

A black man wearing all black walked into the store shortly after 12:30 a.m. with a black handgun, police said.

Police said the man did get away with an undetermined amount of cash and some merchandise.

Police used a k9 officer to try and track down the man but believe he ran to a nearby car.

No employees were injured.
