Victim Killed In Hancock Expressway Crash Identified
Colorado Springs Police have released the name of the woman killed in a one-car crash on Hancock Expressway on Thursday.
The woman killed is Gloria Candelaria, said police.
She died in the single-car rollover near Union Boulevard when she was thrown from the car.
According to police, Candelaria lost control of her car. It flipped over onto its roof and the driver was ejected. Police said she died at the scene of the crash.
The accident happened shortly before 5 a.m. Thursday.
Police said no one else was in the car.
There is a slight curve in the roadway where the accident happened. Police said drivers should not have a problem navigating through the curve as long as they are driving under the speed limit which is 45 miles per hour.
