Robbery Suspect Arrested

Colorado Springs Police arrest a man accused of robbing two people Tuesday night.

Police said Kory Dillard, 24, used a shotgun to rob the victims in the parking lot at 1510 Yuma Street.

Robbery Detectives said they confirmed the identity of one of the suspects as Dillard and got an arrest warrant.

Detectives, along with the CSPD Tactical Enforcement Unit, said they spotted Dillard driving out of the parking lot of his apartment complex in the 700 block of Chapman Drive Friday, and stopped him.

Dillard was taken into custody and booked for Aggravated Robbery and Menacing. His bond was set at $200,000.

After his arrest, police said they obtained a search warrant for Dillard’s apartment.

The investigation is ongoing.
