Brief Power Outage Blamed On Wreck
A small power outage on the north end of Colorado Springs is nearly fixed according to a Colorado Springs Utilities spokesperson.
The newsroom received a call about power outages in the Chapel Hills area around 7:30 pm. The caller told us power had been out for about 40 minutes.
That spokesperson said a car wreck is to blame. He said a vehicle ran into a transformer at the intersection of Old Farm Road and Powers Boulevard. Power has been restored to almost all of the customers effected according to CSU. Remaining homes should have power again shortly.
