Money Matters: Concert venues struggle amid the coronavirus shutdowns
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The entertainment industry has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.
Live Nation, the world's biggest concert promoter, says revenue for the first quarter fell 21%.
However, company executives say 80% of shows called off are being rescheduled instead of canceled.
In southern Colorado, the Broadmoor World Arena and the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts have canceled or postponed events through the month of May.
According to the Pikes Peak Center website, an event on June 5 doesn't appear to be canceled or delayed.
