KRDO’s Tuesday Afternoon Pet of the Week

Pet of the Week Presented by High Country Veterinary Hospital

Spot may be considered a common name for a dog, but not every Spot has.. a literal
spot! This 6-year-old, male, sweet, short haired chihuahua was named for his adorable feature on
his forehead. Spot has been at the shelter for a week, he was originally found as a stray by a
neighbor in Pueblo who then decided they couldn’t keep him, so he was brought in to find his
dream home! Spot would be ideal for a quieter home as he has shown signs of shyness and some
nerves. He also isn’t a fan of leashes, so some leash training would be beneficial. Spot’s adoption
fee is $75. He will be neutered before leaving the shelter and comes with vaccines, a voucher for
a veterinary exam, a one-year dog license, a microchip and one month of pet insurance! We
know this little guy will hit your sweet spot!

Want to know more about Spot? Visit hsppr.org or visit in person at 4600 Eagleridge Place in
Pueblo. Adoption hours are Noon – 4:30 p.m. 719-544-3005
