KRDO’S Wednesday Afternoon Pet of the Week

Titan is your KRDO Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! He is a four-year-old black and white American Staffordshire mix who came into HSPPR as an owner surrender.

· Titan is a loving, playful boy who has plenty of enthusiasm and even more love to give.

· He adores attention and is always ready for a game of tug-of-war, a walk outside, or an opportunity to show off his tricks.

· Titan can be nervous around unfamiliar people, so giving him the chance to approach and warm up at his own pace will help him feel comfortable and build trust.

· He has been around children and loves playing with them, although his size and excitement can sometimes result in an accidental tumble or two.

· Titan has lived with another dog before, but he can get overly excited when meeting other dogs and may rush up without always understanding their personal space. Slow, thoughtful introductions will be important when meeting potential canine companions.

· With a little guidance, Titan can learn to channel his big enthusiasm into positive interactions and become an even better adventure buddy.
