KRDO’s Thursday Morning Pet of the Week

KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.

She loves adventuring in the trees, it’s Aspen and she is your KRDO pet of the week from Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! Aspen is a two-year-old Australian Cattle Dog that came in as an owner surrender and now she’s looking for her new home.

Aspen can be nervous so it’s best to let her come to you first or approach her slowly. HSPPR staff and volunteers have been helping Aspen with her shyness and she’s come a long way! Aspen will warm up to you after some time, especially if you take her on a walk outside where you can see her sparkling smile. Aspen can be uncomfortable around other dogs, so she may do best in a home as the only dog or with patient introductions to the pets already in your home
