KRDO’s Thursday Morning Pet of the Week
KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.
If you need a handsome boy to keep you moving this winter, Rye could be the one for you! Rye is a 1-year-old German shepherd mix. He came in to HSPPR as a stray, and no owner ever came to claim him. So now Rye is looking for a new home that will love him for the rest of his days! Rye is an energetic boy, and he would love a busy family who loves exercise and activity as much as he does. Rye would love to learn some doggie manners with your help. He is good on a leash, and he already knows how to sit for a treat. He’s eager to learn more with your guidance! Come visit with Rye for yourself today! His adoption fee is $250, which includes a voucher for a veterinarian exam, vaccinations, and a microchip, and he is already neutered.
Want to know more about Rye? Visit hsppr.org or visit in person at 610 Abbot Lane in Colorado Springs. Adoption hours are 11 am – 5 pm weekdays and 11:00 am – 4:30 pm weekends. We can’t meet muzzle to muzzle this year, but we are ready to have a great time with you at our annual Pawtoberfest event! Tune in to our Facebook page every day at noon next week for different virtual events, where we’ll put the fun in fundraiser! Visit pawtoberfest.org to order your t-shirt and for more information.
