KRDO’s Thursday Morning Pet of the Week
KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.
This spunky senior gal is Lulu, a 15-year-old spayed Yorkshire terrier mix. Lulu unfortunately came in to HSPPR because her owner became ill and couldn’t care for her. So now she’s looking for a quiet, relaxing home full of love for her retirement. She’s very experienced at being a member of the family. Lulu is sweet and friendly, and her previous owner said she is housebroken. She would love to take a gentle stroll around the block with you in the evenings and snooze on your sofa while you’re away at work. Come visit with Lulu for yourself today! Her adoption fee is $75, which includes a voucher for a veterinarian exam, vaccinations, a 1-year dog license, and a microchip, and she is already spayed.
Want to know more about Lulu? Visit hsppr.org or visit in person at 610 Abbot Lane in Colorado Springs. Adoption hours are 11 am – 5 pm weekdays and 11:00 am – 4:30 pm weekends. For the safety of our staff and adopters, we are limiting the number of adopters in the building at a time, and we are requiring masks to be worn by all adopters. Can’t adopt right now? You can still help out pets in need in our region by making a donation at hsppr.org/donate.
