KRDO’s Thursday Morning Pet of the Week
KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.
Can you resist this face? This is Wadsworth, a 5-year-old grey and white kitty. Wadsworth didn’t have the best life before coming to HSPPR. He’s a man of the streets, and he’s got the cat fighting scars to prove it! But Wadsworth is ready to give up the street life for a life of luxury with you. He was very shy when he first came to HSPPR, but he’s decided soft beds and headscratches aren’t so bad after all. Now all he needs is loving home for the rest of his days! Wadsworth is FIV+, which is common is outside cats, but that’s nothing to fear! We’ll give you all the information you need to make sure Wadsworth lives a long, happy life with you. Come visit with Wadsworth for yourself today! His adoption fee is free because he’s a Hand-Picked Cat. It still includes a voucher for a veterinarian exam, vaccinations, and a microchip, and he is already neutered.
Want to know more about Wadsworth? Visit hsppr.org or visit in person at 610 Abbot Lane in Colorado Springs. Adoption hours are 11 am – 5 pm weekdays and 11:00 am – 4:30 pm weekends. For the safety of our staff and adopters, we are limiting the number of adopters in the building at a time, and we are requiring masks to be worn by all adopters. Can’t adopt right now? You can still help out pets in need in our region by making a donation at hsppr.org/donate.
