Meet Monshew! The HSPPR Pet of the week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - This is Monshew, and he is your Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region!

Monshew is a 2-year-old white and blue tick Pit Bull mix who came into HSPPR as a stray.

He is a big, lovable goofball who thinks every day should include treats, toys, attention, and plenty of fun. He already knows “sit” and “shake” and is always excited to show off his skills.

He absolutely loves other dogs and leaning into pets from his people. Because he’s a bigger, energetic guy who is still working on his manners. Monshew will do best with a family ready to keep his training going and help him learn that not every greeting needs to be quite so enthusiastic.

Monshew’s adoption is $200 and he will go home with his vaccinations, a voucher for a vet exam, a microchip, and he will be neutered. You can see all the other dogs, cats, and small animals available for adoption at HSPPR.org or stop by the shelter at 610 Abbot Lane to visit Monshew today.
