Site offering $1,000 to someone to watch 24 hours of horror movies on Halloween
A TV website is offering a challenge that we're sure won't scare many of you off -- watch horror movies for 24 hours straight and get $1,000.
CableTV.com and HighSpeedInternet.com are offering the deal to one horror aficionado who's down to binge at least a dozen movies on Halloween.
The posting for applicants says you'll choose the movies you stream for the 24 hours. "Anything goes," the post says, "gooey gore-fests, m-m-m-monster movies, folk horror, killer clowns, ghost stories, giallo films, psychological thrillers, and even awesomely bad B-flicks." All you have to do while watching them is live-tweet the movie marathon.
If you're selected, you'll get $1,000 for the gory gig plus a $50 Starbucks gift card to get enough coffee to stay awake for the full 24 hours. And since you'll be missing out on whatever version of trick-or-treating will be taking place on Halloween, you'll also get a bag of candy to munch on through the night.
