Tough decisions on signing day for some Pine Creek football players
Ten seniors on the Pine Creek football team signed their letters of intent, Luke Wieland's decision was emotionally draining and not easy one to make, "About an hour ago you were thinking Wyoming what made you go back to Air Force? I don't know it didn't feel right. I can't explain it. It wasn't right," says Luke Wieland, who signed to play football at Air Force.
"You guys won the state championship is this like the cherry on top, signing with all of your buddies? It's awesome and it's also sad at the same time cuz I don't know when I'm going to see them," says David Moore, who signed to play football at Southern Utah, "Kinda cool to see like where everybody ends up. Been playing with them since eighth grade some of these guys since sixth grade it's just crazy to see where everybody ends up," says Ethan Kramer, who will play football at Northern Colorado, "They all deserve it. There's no other guys I'd rather sign with other than my teammates and my brothers and it's all well deserved for all of them," says Wieland.
Even though they will never play football together again, they say they have an unbreakable bond, "I've been playing with them since eighth grade so it's gonna be hard leaving them but it's also exciting to see where our future takes us. You will always have Pine Creek in your blood right? Yeah all the time. Pine Creek football made me-me," says Moore.
