Saturday’s high school football playoff roundup

Pine Creek blanked Pueblo West 34-0 to advance to the 4A state championship game. The Eagles reached the title game for the third time in the last four seasons.

Palmer Ridge's quest for a three-peat is still alive. The Bears doubled up Green Mountain 42-21 to advance to the 3A state title game.

Pueblo South will meet Palmer Ridge with a state championship on the line. The Colts used a heroic, game-winning, drive engineered by Logan Petit to squeeze past Frederick 28-24. Petit fired a touchdown pass to Jackson Dickerson with 15.7 seconds left. S

South returns to the state championship for the first time since 2017, when the Colts beat Pine Creek to win the state crown.

Palmer Ridge rallied for a 24-19 win over the Colts on November 27th.

Fowler lost the 8-man state championship game to Sedgwick County, 44-8.
