TODAY: Temps will be similar to Thursday, in the 70s in most lower-lying areas. Gusty winds linger. Expect isolated showers and storms, with most of the action shifting east across the Plains. Flood Warnings continue for portions of the San Juans due to overflowing rivers and creeks.

WEEKEND: We cool to the 50s and 60s in lower-lying areas this weekend, with another disturbance bringing more showers and storms. The snow level could drop as low as 8,000 feet Sunday morning, though accumulations don't seem likely for our local mountain towns in Teller County.

EXTENDED: We stay cool in the 50s and 60s through early next week with more rain chances!
