Andy Stein

Meteorologist Andy Stein - who also goes by Rain or Shine, I’m Andy Stein - joined the KRDO weather team in March of 2021. An East Coast native, Andy moved to Colorado to work on a national weather station, WeatherNationTV, in 2016.

You can find him hiking, skiing, playing volleyball in the park, and hanging out with his partner and their dog, Kaia, outside as much as possible. Andy was the Chief Meteorologist at WOAY in West Virginia straight out of college before moving to Myrtle Beach to cover floods, hurricanes, and much more.

Covering the local weather in Colorado is a dream for Andy. The wild weather this state sees is enough to keep him inspired yet concerned for what the future holds. Tracking the climate in Colorado has quickly become one of Andy’s priorities and sharing those findings with the public is something he strives to do.
