Rock slide temporarily closed westbound Highway 24 near Manitou Springs

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- A rock slide temporarily closed Highway 24 near Manitou Springs Thursday afternoon.

The road first closed at 1:23 p.m. The two westbound lanes closed between US 24B Manitou Springs and Canon Ave.

By 1:39 p.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation announced all of Highway 24 as back open.
