Teller County Sheriff’s Office and Animal Control help evacuate animals from 403 Fire

PARK COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- More assistance is coming for people who have animals and livestock that need help evacuating the 403 Fire.

Teller County Animal Control says that they have the resources to help neighbors move cattle, horses and other large farm animals or livestock to a safe area. They say people can drop off dogs and cats at the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter which is located at 308 Weaverville Road in Divide.

719-687-9652 is the non-emergency dispatch line that you are urged to call if you need help moving your animals.
