Early morning crash kills motorcyclist in Southeast Colorado Springs
A motorcyclist has died after an early morning crash Monday in Southeast Colorado Springs.
Special Investigations tells KRDO that the motorcyclist was riding in the westbound lanes of Fountain Blvd. The driver of the truck was headed eastbound on Fountain and tried to turn northbound on Chelton. The truck and the motorcycle crashed at the intersection.
It’s not clear at this time what color the traffic light was at the time of the crash or which vehicle was at fault.
The driver of the truck wasn’t hurt.
An investigation is now underway.
