Man arrested in connection with accidental shooting
One man has been arrested after police say he accidentally shot a man in the head. It happened Tuesday night in the 2000 block of Lark Drive.
Police say Joel Anderson was handling a loaded gun while intoxicated, when it inadvertently went off.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head, but is expected to survive.
Anderson was arrested on charges second-degree assault and prohibited use of a weapon.
