Colorado Springs Police looking for Victims Advocacy Unit volunteers
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- CSPD is looking to recruit volunteers that can help victims navigate life and the legal system after the crime has occurred.
Volunteers with the Victims Advocacy Unit will work next to full-time staff members and help provide several services. These include 24/7 crisis intervention, offering information on the Victim Rights Act, and help in securing protection orders if needed.
