Frosty Wednesday morning forecast prompts weather advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for much of eastern Colorado.

The advisory, which includes Colorado Springs and El Paso County, but not Pueblo County, begins at 3 a.m. Wednesday and expires at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Temperatures in the advisory area are expected to drop into the lower 30s.

A frost advisory means that frost is possible, and that frost sensitive plants should be brought inside or covered.

A freeze warning has been issued for the same time period for many areas on Colorado’s Western Slope.
