UPDATE: Woman cited for DUI after deadly crash

A woman has been cited for driving under the influence of alcohol after a deadly crash in El Paso County.

The two-car crash happened near Squirrel Creek Road and Milne Road, east of Fountain, around 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Colorado State Patrol said a 38-year-old man from Colorado Springs was killed. He was not wearing seat belt.

The other driver, 56-year-old Sue Hill of Fountain, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. She was under the influence of alcohol, troopers say.

The main contributing factor for the crash is failing to yield right of way.
