Crews respond to working fire along 2700 block of N. Chestnut St.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to reports of a working fire along N. Chestnut St., near Pike Park.

At 4:27 p.m. on Friday, CSFD said Engine 9 was at the scene of 2702 N. Chestnut St.

At 4:49 p.m., officials said firefighters had the majority of the fire under control. Crews closed Chestnut St. due to multiple fire engines on the scene.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
