Body of missing swimmer recovered from Lake Pueblo State Park

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The body of a missing swimmer has been recovered from Lake Pueblo Monday night.

According to emergency crews on scene, a teenaged boy's body was pulled from the water sometime before 8:30 p.m. on June 6.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife first reported the swimmer was missing that same day just after 6 p.m.

This is the third person to die in the lake in a little over a week.

A married couple died at Lake Pueblo on Sunday, May 29 when their boat overturned.

11 other individuals on that boat were sent to the hospital to be treated for hypothermia.
