Coroner identifies second victim in overturned boat accident in Lake Pueblo
PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo County Coroner has identified the second victim in the overturned boat accident which happened on Sunday.
Tuesday, the coroner identified 30-year-old Joshua Prindle, of Pueblo West, as the man officials have been searching for since Sunday.
The two victims identified, Joshua and Jessica Prindle, are husband and wife. The coroner identified Jessica on Monday.
On Monday night, crews picked up the search again at 10 p.m. near the picnic area. The search was suspended during the day due to high winds interfering with the sonar technology.
Investigators say they believe Sunday's high winds caused the boat to overturn.
Officials say the search is a challenge because of the 80 to 90 feet water depth.
A group of volunteers with Fort Carson Mountain Post helped in the search. They are walking the shore of the reservoir to see if they can spot anything on foot.
