Freeze warning issued for Monday night and Tuesday morning
A freeze warning has been issued for late Monday night and early Tuesday morning for all of southeastern Colorado.
The warning includes Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Caon City, Trinidad, La Junta, Lamar, Walsenburg, Springfield and surrounding areas. It begins at 11 p.m. Monday and expires at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are expected. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
