Officer involved shooting in Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs Police say officers returned fire after a man shot at them.
The incident happened in the area of Barnes and Purcell in northeast Colorado Springs.
Police were called to the 6700 block of Holt Drive to check on someone when a man started shooting at them. The officers returned fire.
The man who was shot was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
The 6700 block of Holt Drive was expected to be closed for several hours while police investigated the incident.
No officers were hurt.
No names have been released.
