Pueblo murder suspect arrested
The Pueblo Police Department says a man who is suspected of beating another man to death at the Safeway on W. 29th Street has been arrested.
The crime happened on January 20, 2014.
Police were called to the store at 9 a.m. that day to check out a report of a man who was beaten up and unconscious.
That man, later identified as Michael Flavin, 46, was taken to the hospital where he died.
On February 21, 2014, police announced they had arrested Vincent Ballejos, 28, in connection to Flavin’s death.
Police say Ballejos was arrested in the 1600 block of Gaylord Avenue. He is facing second degree murder charges.
