Colo. Springs firefighters get apartment fire under control
Colorado Springs firefighters said they have an apartment fire under control.
It started at around 9 a.m. Sunday at 601 N. Cascade Avenue.
Firefighters said the fire may have started in the basement. There is no visible damage from the front of the multiple unit home.
The building itself only suffered minor damage.
No one has been displaced. Residents were allowed to return to their homes after the air quality was considered safe.
According to firefighters, no one was hurt.
