Internet message threatens pit bulls
A message circulating the internet is proclaiming this Halloween “National Kill a Pit Bull Day,” but the Humane Society says it’s likely a hoax.
“These things do tend to crop up around Halloween and other holidays like this,” said Gretchen Pressley, Communications Specialist of the Humane Society Pikes Peak Region.
Pressley said messages like these are still concerning because of the animosity they create. If you see any type of animal abuse, report it. You can call the Humane Society at (719) 473-1741.
