Police make arrest after MMJ robbery
Colorado Springs police make an arrest in a medical marijuana dispensary that was robbed early Friday morning.
Police tell us Discreet Treats, located at 288 S. Academy Blvd., was robbed shortly before 12:30 a.m. Friday.
When officers arrived they saw a man running from the back of the building, police said. Police soon caught up with the man, later identified at Mikel Eads, 32.
Eads had 3.2 pounds of marijuana in his backpack, police said.
The marijuana was returned to the owner and Eads was taken to jail.
