Obama visits CU students
President Obama wasn’t afraid to show off his Colorado knowledge at CU-Boulder.
The President was making his 11th trip to Colorado and his second of the week. On Tuesday he spoke at a rally at CSU Ft. Collins. On Sunday he sympathized with a crowd of 13,000 over the Buffaloes’ defeat in yesterday’s Rocky Mountain Showdown. He also blasted the Republican convention as a re-run that he said could have aired on Nick-at-Nite and repeatedly urged the youthful crowd to vote.
Obama noted that he has a pizza named after him at a local campus hangout he once visited called The Sink. And he told the crowd that westerners understand how important it is to keep moving forward — a word which happens to be his campaign slogan.
