Police: 2 Women Arrested In Stolen Car
Colorado Springs police arrested Shawna Patt and Christie Remington Wednesday night.
Police said they spotted a stolen car at the Motel 6 on North Chestnut Street shortly before 11 p.m. Police saw the women get into the car and attempt to drive away. When police stopped the women, they produced false government identification cards, police said. The IDs were for women who looked like Patt and Remington.
Police said both women were wanted on several felony warrants and arrested. According to police, the women were asked before being booked if they had anything illegal on them. Both women said they didn’t, but when they were booked into the jail, narcotics were found on both women, police said.
