Walgreens On Centennial Robbed, Suspect On The Loose

COLORADO SPRINGS – A suspect is on the loose after he Robbed a Walgreens Wednesday.

Police were dispatched to Walgreen Drug store located at 4315 Centennial Blvd., in regards to an Aggravated Robbery in progress around 5:15 p.m.The suspect entered the Walgreens Drug store and went to the cash register and implied that he had a weapon, but none was seen. The suspect then reached into the cash register and held it open and instructed the cashier to place all the money in a Walgreens bag before he fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.Due to numerous customers in and about the business center no K-9 track was attempted.

The suspect was described as a white male 40-45 years, was wearing a heavy dark colored coat and dark knit stocking cap. He was also wearing glasses and had a goatee.
