Investigators in Chaffee County woman’s disappearance release home back to family

CHAFFEE COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Investigators say that they're still looking for valuable leads in the disappearance of Suzanne Morphew from Chaffee County, but we're learning that Morphew's home has been released back to the family after it was cordoned off last week.

The Chaffee County Sheriff's Office confirmed that development through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. However, no new updates have been provided since law enforcement's three-day search of a residence in east Salida yielded no results.

Morphew, 49, was last seen on May 10 and was reportedly on a bike ride along Hwy 50 near Monarch Pass.

Morphew's husband, Barry, posted an emotional plea for any information leading to Suzanne.
