Tracking slight cooldown & widespread storms

TODAY: Sunday brings scattered showers and thunderstorms with periods of heavy rainfall and 30-50 MPH gusts. Residents in the Beulah Valley and surrounding area should still be on high alert for additional flooding. In addition, A Flood Watch has been prompted for the San Juans and other areas on the Western Slope. We cool several degrees to the high 80's/low 90's in Colorado Springs and mid 90's in Pueblo Sunday.

TOMORROW: We're tracking scattered showers and thunderstorms that could bring flooding, hail and gusty winds in the afternoon and evening. Any additional rainfall over Beulah and San Isabel could cause more flash flooding. Highs cool a few more degrees to the mid 80's in Colorado Springs and low 90's in Pueblo.

EXTENDED: Showers should be a bit more isolated Tuesday as a drying trend begins. Mostly dry weather continues for most of the work week with higher storm chances returning next weekend.
