CSPD investigates ‘serious crash’ west of Downtown Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Officers responded to a crash in the area of Cimarron St. and 8th St. just after 7 a.m. Monday.

The crash shut down part of Cimarron St., which was reopened around 11 a.m.

Two cars crashed while one was making a turn onto the US 24 frontage road. Police say the drivers in both cars were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The CSPD Major Crash Team is investigating the crash.
