COSTILLA COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made a dedicated tip line where community members can share information about potential misconduct by the Costilla County Sheriff’s Office.

On March 26, the 12th Judicial District Grand Jury issued indictments charging the sheriff, undersheriff, and two deputies with various crimes, including second-degree assault, abuse of a corpse, official misconduct and failure to intervene.

  • Tip Line: (719) 631-8550

According to officials, callers should leave a message with their name, contact information, and the nature of the complaint. The CBI says it will monitor both the email and phone lines.
